Lojain Alyamani

Lojain Alyamani is a research fellow with the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies. She obtained her master’s degree in law from Columbia University and another master’s degree in law with a specialization in women’s studies from the University of Ottawa. Before joining KFCRIS, she worked as a lecturer in law at King Abdulaziz University. Alyamani’s research interests lie at the intersection of legal sociology, cultural and institutional modernization, and governmentality studies.
