Musab Alamri

Filmmaker, Educator, and Scholar

Musab Alamri is a film director and consultant specializing in film and cultural initiatives across both government and private sectors. He has led numerous high-profile projects and government initiatives within various cultural sectors, including film. In addition to his consultancy work, he serves as an assistant professor of film, sharing his expertise with the next generation of filmmakers. 

Alamri has published three peer-reviewed research articles and authored two books, including the latest “Film Directing: Your Steps Towards Directing Film Based on the Latest Practices.” His practical interests lie in film producing and directing, while his research focuses on the development of film industries and the government policies and regulations that support and organize them. He earned his MFA in filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles in 2017, followed by a PhD in film and television studies from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2021.
