Vikram Divecha

Artist

Vikram Divecha is a Dubai- and New York-based artist from Mumbai. His work addresses time and value, labor, and socioeconomic structures. Despite dealing with mainly invisible systems, his work translates them into concrete artistic forms. Divecha’s recent exhibitions include “Minor Work” at the Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde in Dubai, “Portrait Sessions” at Tashkeel in Dubai, and “(Un)conscious: A series of small serendipities” at the Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde in Dubai. Recipient of the 2014 Middle East Emergent Artist Prize, he has exhibited works at Sharjah Biennial 13 (2017), Louvre Abu Dhabi (2017), and created projects for the Arab Fund for the Arts and Culture (2014). He holds an MFA from Columbia University.
