Murithi Mutiga

Project Director, Horn of Africa, International Crisis Group

Murithi Mutiga is the International Crisis Group’s project director for the Horn of Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Previously, Mutiga covered East Africa for The Guardian and prior to that, served as a contributing op-ed writer to The International New York Times. He was also an editor and columnist with the Sunday Nation (Kenya). Mutiga holds an MSc in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
