On June 9, AGSIW and SEPAD will host a discussion with Geneive Abdo, Simon Mabon, and Maha Yahya examining sectarianism and nationalism in the Middle East. Kristin Smith Diwan will moderate the discussion.
On June 16, AGSIW will host a discussion with Thomas L. Friedman, Suzanne Maloney, and Ambassador Frank G. Wisner on the ongoing Vienna negotiations aimed at reviving the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear agreement. Hussein Ibish will moderate the discussion.
On June 17, AGSIW will host Aisha Al Abdooli, acting assistant undersecretary for green development and climate change for the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, to discuss the UAE’s climate-related initiatives and multilateral collaborative efforts.
