Leeza Ahmady

Curator, Ahmady Arts

Leeza Ahmady is the curator of AhmadyArts, a New York-based independent curatorial, educational, and arts advisory practice, with a particular emphasis on promoting the work of Central Asian artists. In addition to her role at Ahmady Arts, she has served as the director of the Asia Society’s Asian Contemporary Art Week for nearly 14 years. Prior to her work with the Asia Society, Ahmady served as the director of LL Gallery, where she coordinated exhibits by prominent contemporary artists including Dennis Oppenheim, Frosty Myers, and Andy Warhol. Throughout her career, she has presented exhibits and programs at the Venice Biennale, Museum of Modern Art, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Istanbul Biennale, Asia Art Archive, and other prominent platforms. Ahmady holds a Master of Arts in arts and culture management from the Pratt Institute in New York.
