AGSIW in the Gulf
A delegation from AGSIW traveled to Kuwait and delivered lectures at the Kuwait Diplomatic Institute. They met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali al-Yahya at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Amb. Douglas A. Silliman and Kristin Smith Diwan also met with Mishaal Jaber Ahmad al-Sabah, head of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
Silliman and Diwan met with Ghanim Al-Najjar at the offices of the Journal of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies and the Center for Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies at Kuwait University to discuss areas for collaboration.
