Ahmed Ali Attiga

CEO, Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation

Ahmed Ali Attiga is the chief executive officer of the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation and has over 25 years of experience in investment management, development finance, private equity, research, and teaching. Attiga previously worked with the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation as a private sector development specialist and senior advisor to the board of directors. He was responsible for overseeing several investment and advisory services in the Middle East, including an investment portfolio of over $2.7 billion and advisory program of $200 million. Previously, Attiga served as an advisor to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund on privatization and restructuring strategies. He is also a board member of the Emirates Development Bank, in addition to many other professional affiliations. Attiga holds a BA in economics, an MS in international economies, and an MBA and a PhD in finance and development from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
