Máté Szalai is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade and a senior lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest. His primary focus of research includes the Gulf region and the foreign and security policy of small states. He has recently been a visiting scholar at The Harriman Institute at Columbia University.
