Will A. Smith is the assistant editor at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington. Prior to joining AGSIW, he was the assistant managing editor of The National Interest, where much of his writing and editing focused on the Middle East. Smith is pursuing a Master of Arts in global governance, politics, and security at American University. He graduated from Dickinson College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in security studies and a minor in economics. Previously, Smith interned at the U.S. Army War College, The National Interest, and the Center for International Policy.
