Elham Fakhro

Associate Fellow, Middle East and North Africa Programme, Chatham House

Elham Fakhro is a research fellow at Exeter University’s Centre for Gulf Studies and an associate fellow with the Chatham House Middle East and North Africa Programme.

She previously acted as senior Gulf analyst with the International Crisis Group and as a lecturer in international law at NYU Abu Dhabi. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from St Antony’s College, Oxford University and a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School. Her research interests encompass contemporary politics, foreign policies, and social movements in the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
