Ibrahim Baig

Manager, Arabic Propaganda Analysis Team, Chicago Project on Security and Threats, University of Chicago

Ibrahim Baig is the manager of the Arabic Propaganda Analysis team at the Chicago Project on Security and Threats, where he researches propaganda strategy and narratives of terrorist groups, like the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant and al-Qaeda, directed at the Arabic-speaking world. He holds an MA in international relations from the University of Chicago. He has also worked in the nonprofit sector in areas such as international human rights advocacy and media, focusing on giving a voice to Muslim Americans. Baig has near native proficiency in Arabic and Urdu. He is currently pursuing an MA in Islamic theology at the American Islamic College in Chicago, Illinois.
