Joumana Hosri

CEO, Sacotel Znshine

Joumana Hosri is a businesswoman and board member of the Fernand Hosri Group. The group, which was founded in 1966 by her father, Fernand Hosri, operates in different fields in the Middle East, including security, telecommunications, home automation, and renewable energy. Hosri is the CEO of Sacotel Znshine, a joint venture company between Sacotel and Znshine PV-Tech, a tier 1 Chinese manufacturer of solar panels ranking 10th globally. This joint venture has put Sacotel Znshine in a leading position as supplier of solar panels for the Middle East market. Under her guidance, Znshine won a Dubai Electricity and Water Authority tender for solar modules that were supplied for 5,000 villas in 2019. Hosri  also serves as CCO of SACOTEL, a leader in telecommunications, security, and automation in the Middle East. She has led the company to become part of the United Nations Global Compact. In September 2019, she received the Energy Awareness Award from United Nations Development Program and IPTEC for a solar project implemented in education. She was named Woman in Solar of the Year by the Middle East Energy Industry Association in 2021. Hosri is a founding member, board member, and secretary general of the Society of Sustainability & Green Materials. Hosri graduated from the Sorbonne University (Paris) in economics.
