Lauren McMillen is the founder and CEO of ámaxa, a tech nonprofit that helps passionate people who want to make an outsized impact on the world by connecting them to high-impact projects with partner nonprofits across eight countries. She graduated from New York University Abu Dhabi with a bachelor’s degree in Arab studies and computer science and hopes to pursue a master’s in Middle Eastern studies in the near future.
