Workshop on the Future of U.S.-Gulf Relations

On November 14, AGSIW hosted a workshop examining the future of U.S. Gulf relations, featuring remarks by Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, undersecretary for international affairs of the kingdom of Bahrain.

Visiting Scholar Emma Soubrier presented her research on the arms trade and discussed regional security issues on the panels “Rentierism and Power Dynamics in/of the Gulf Countries: Evolving Nexuses” and “The Gulf Regional Security Complex at 40.”
